I saw a Merrimac Town Councilman on MSNBC today, Aug. 1,2007. I was proud of that councilman. He spoke about being proud of being an American and proud of being a Patriot. He spoke reasonably about the reasons for not having signs in Spanish. He refuted the arguments of the paid consultant who spoke for the opposition in a gentlemanly way. Mostly I was proud of him for standing up for English and for America.

** Comment as posted elsewhere on citytowninfo.com **
