I was born in Grayling. It really hasn't changed all that much. It doesn't offer much for jobs and has a lack of variety for shopping. Locals drive to Gaylord or Houghton Lake or Traverse City for shopping. It's sad people have to shop elsewhere and end up putting money into another community. I heard a rumour of a waterpark coming to town in the vicinity of 4 Mile Rd but I won't beleive that until I see it. It is said to bring along 800+ jobs with it to the area.
