I wish they had fought the woman who filed a lawsuit to remove the fish from the city seal.We must fight to keep the symbols of our Christian heritage.

yeah, well I for one do not think that God is going to be upset just because A fish symbol was removed from a sign/seal, whatever, And in respect to both sides, i can understand Christians wanting to hold on to a fish symbol *snicker* what they should hold onto is the teachings, and God himself,  And learning how to treat others decently. ( thou shalt not worship a false God)
fish symbols are just that, fish symbols, something MAN created to make a quick buck from the Christians.. I do believe in God, I also know that he did not want Christians to force it upon others.. and when everywhere you go, everywhere you look, thats what I see, thats what everyone see`s , we just get tired of looking/hearing/seeing about it 24hrs a day, I love God, i don`t love being forced to see "items" that "MAN" created as a "SYMBOL" that "REPRESENTS" God. Maybe if more people like you, read the Bible (not skimming through it) you might learn something.
God wants those to come to him willingly, not because they feel obligated, not because they feel forced. Find something useful to do with your time, then to complain about something so ridiculous ;D

If only more folks who are so absolutely convinced their sect/religion/creed/cult/whatever was the TRUTH would cast aside what is so often mere indoctrination or the rituals they were raised with.... before they achieved the cognitive ability to rationalize for themselves.

Besides, doesn't the Bible sayeth that Jesus proclaimed one is to pray quietly alone and not make a BIG spectacle of themselves?

America allows freedom of religion but it also allows freedom FROM religion!!!!!
