I CANNOT FINE THE REAL ESTATE TAX INFORMATION, HEAR THERE IS A DRUG PROBLEM, QUESTION THE $53,000.00 INCOME AND OVER RUN WITH COLLEGE KIDS. NOT A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE WITH SMALL KIDS. THE TOWN NEEDS CLEANED UP.ON A SCALE FROM 1 TO 10 I SEE A -1

also, unless you like to hike, camp, hunt and fish; (outside the city it is quite beautiful) there is relatively nothing to do there.  You can only go to the local community theatre so often.  There are, however, plenty of bars.  You can't turn your head without seeing someone stumble out of one.  A friend of mine met someone in rehab in a state hundreds of miles away and she said that she had just been in Cumberland the weekend before to obtain drugs as it is somewhat known in those circles as being the place to go :'(.  I am there every 2 weeks or so as my boyfriend lives there and the boredom is mind boggleing.  You may find a nice house or two but most of them are along side a building that is ready to fall down.  It was very quaint at Christmas, however.  Nice to see all of the downtown lights on your way from bar to bar.  We have quit drinking and it is nearly impossible to find any activity that does not promote drinking ie. St Paddy's pub crawl last week.  If, however, you are an outdoorsman, retired, drunk or junkie...then it would be heaven. :'(
