Oh my goodness, it's 80 outside today. Looks like I don't have to move to San Diego after all.

Technically speaking, the first day of Winter is December 22. To me, though, it's the first time I get up in the morning and the ground is covered with frost.

I think winter begins with the first snow that falls and stays more than one day. It lasts until the last big snowpile is down to a little muddy heap. Winter lasts about 6 months in Perrinton, Michigan! ::)

Winter is on it's last legs (finally). Although there are still a few of those ugly piles of dirty snow melting in parking lots...

Yes indeed. Beautiful, sunny day! Pretty soon we will be seeing the layers of clothing coming off. This is my favorite part of the better weather.
