I once lived in South Pasadena and played at Alhambra Park as a child.  I remember visiting the wading pool and later the big pool.  I remember there was a Military Fighter Jet at the park.  I think it was an F-86 Saber Jet.  I was always curious as how it came to be there.  What ever happened to that airplane?
