My mother, Jessie Beatrice Williams Deloch was born in Gould 3/18/35 to Leaner Hayes Jennings and James "Skeets" Jennings. James died before my mother was born,. Her mother married Finley Williams. They left for Youngstown Ohio in '38. I am trying to trace my mother's roots, especially that of James Skeets Jennings. I heard he was an important black man there. I hope there is someone who can help me trace the father my mom never knew. I think he died of influenza in 1934. I believe he attended a baptist church there. Thank you.
