That is why foreclosure in ocala is up, people are living almost in poverty and there is nothing here for the elderly in regards to independent living apartments for seniors of low income. Ocala, has many independent living facilities going up, at over $2000.00 a month. Leaving this only to those with a wealthier income.What about seniors with little or no income. Same goes for the young families trying to own a home, what kind of family can live on a median family income now adays of $38,000. It is a shame..
