I think this years Gala of Goddesses pagent was one of the worst staged events I have ever attended. There were so many people talking not just kids but grown ups and yes many Teachers also.children running wild. Many of us had our daughters participate for the first time you could not even hear their names when they were announced nor any thing else about them upon arriving home I had to ask my daughter what they said about her.The boys sitting in the bleachers above me were whiskey drunk you could smell it from 3seats down.The school was more like a hillbilly function rather than a celebration for the girl to enjoy themselves.I made a recording to send relatives out of town but due to the lack of control and respect of this function I will not be sending it and it is really sad you can not show grandparents how pretty and talented their granddaughters were because the school function was well just so poorley supervised.And the principle was seen standing by the money being brought in by the school, but doing nothing about the children drinking or the lack of respect the teachers ,parents, and fellow student showed at his school.This was a special time for some of us and the girls it was for many of them there last year at East Union Attendance center and for me being the mother of one of these girls can proudly say i'm glad it is.
