Look at the people who are leaving the city and that should tell you something. There isn't any real employment in this city unless you are looking for minimum wage and no skill labor. The factory's have all left and because of the low income job and poverty level famlies crime and drugs are high in this city. Homes in the city are run down and if you put any money into your home you will never recoup it because the neghborhoods are on the decline. The big joke of this city is the Football Hall of Fame, it is a money pit and costs the tax payers money to keep it, the stinger is the city used taxpayers money to build the thing and residents of the city have to pay to go into it (double whammy). Truth is South Bend is a horrible place to live if you want to raise a family because there aren't any jobs and the school system is horrible. People are moving away from this city for good reasons, take this as a heads up and avoid this city like the plague were infecting it.
