I just moved from New Kensington after having grown up there in 1955. Let me say that I am ashamed to say I am from that city as it is today. When I grew up it was a thriving beautiful community but now it is known as drugtown U.S.A. Employment is terrible, crime is at a all time record high and I'm afraid to walk down fith avenue during the day. What happened? I think the citizens need to have there old city back the way it used to be! I now live in Key West, Florida but I still think of the wonderful times I had growing up in New Kensington. I guess it's true what they say, "You can never go back". I guess that's just the way it is and will always be. To all of my good friends back there, "LOTS OF LUCK".
