The best thing about Belle Plaine is getting out and never coming back.  I have lived in a lot of towns and had high hopes for the nice little town, till i made the commitment and bought a house.  Now im doing everything I can to sell it because of a couple reasons.  This is the MOST unfriendly town I have ever lived in, I have been there for two years now and one neihbor has come over and introduced himself.  Secondly I have never been fleeced by taxes like i have been in Belle Plaine the mayor raises taxes so he can put money in accounts for the eventual need of equipment never mind the fact you have nothing left after you house payment to buy grocerys because of it, but the worst is the school system they cry everytime propery taxes come around that they don't have enough I have a novel idea balance your budget I don't get to knock on my niehbors door when im short of funds to pay a bill, neither should they.  When it comes to Belle Plaine RUN don't walk as quickly as you can through town and don't look back.
